Have to disagree with you there. The constitution was a fine document for its time, but has sadly shown its age.

We have already seen, in 2000, its provisions used to overthrow the express will of the people.

And do we really want to have an amendment in the Bill of Rights that can be misconstrued to mean that people have a basic right to buy guns in hardware stores and then carry them wherever they wish? I think not.

The constitution is in serious need of a rewrite. Anything that would keep people from having to buy insurance against something they KNOW will happen is ridiculous, especially when they can be forced to buy insurance against car accidents (which, with care and caution, one can actually avoid having)!

Sorry, rant over.
